PROF. ABBA TIJANI RESTATES COMMITMENT TO STAFF WELFARE & DEVELOPMENT

The Director-General stated this in Bauchi during his Official visit to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Mausoleum, National Museum, Bauchi.
“Nobody gets results from a disenchanted workforce you only get the best from a motivated Staff” he stated.
He expressed gladness and commended the Staff of the Museum for keeping the Museum in an appreciable shape and promised to address all areas of challenges.
Curator of the Museum, Mallam Sani Dalhatu Abdullahi who led his management team to receive the Director-General and his Entourage presented areas of prospects and challenges faced by the museum and prayed for timely intervention to adequately maintain the national edifice. The DG identified collaboration with the private sector and traditional Institutions as credible avenues he will rigorously pursue to upgrade museum structures and facilities.
While on a guided tour of the Mausoleum, the Director-General observed a moment of silence at the Tomb of the late Prime Minister to offer prayers for peace in the country.
On his entourage during the visit were, the Director of Finance- Prince Joseph Dawodu, the Ag. Director of Museums- Mal. A.M Gimba, Ag. Director of Monuments Hertg & Sites- Ms. Victoria Osuagwu, the Head of Public Relations- Dapo Sijuade and the PA to the DG- Abdul Dannabe Mohammed.
